Have you heard all of the funny ways there are to describe your love handles? You can use humor to justify your overweight condition. Many people are mortified and embarrassed about their love handles. Having that flab hanging over the top of your jeans can be unnerving and I’m sure you don’t like it either. Even the cutest name for those love handles doesn’t prevent those with a “muffin top” from trying to down play it. Fortunately for you love handles don’t have to be forever. Daily exercise is one of the best ways to accomplish this. You probably know that not every exercise will work for what you need done. Your focus should be on aerobic exercise. This type of exercise gets your blood pumping and increases your heart rate. With this type of exercise your body burns more of your stored fat because of the amount of energy that is required. A good habit to get into is exercising aerobically a minimum of three times per week for at least 30 minutes. In order to really burn some fat you will need to increase that to 4 if not 5 times per week.

Other forms of exercise can be supplemented by adding a weight training routine to your workout. Weight training is beneficial even though it won’t burn fat as fast as other methods. Weight training will increase your muscle mass and metabolism making your other routines easier to complete. You will burn fat faster with each increase in metabolism.

Never get sucked into the guarantees of supplements that don’t really benefit your weight loss. They are not true. You need a routine that includes anaerobic, aerobic and weight training in order to truly benefit from your desire to lose your love handles.
