Most people want to exercise for the reason of losing weight and this is a great thing. Most people want to gain some muscle mass or just lose the weight they have put on lately. Whatever you goal is you must have a plan that will get you there. Doesn’t matter if you want to look like a body builder or just lose 30 pounds, you need a plan. This will ensure your success if you are committed to getting there.
You will need a plan that will keep you accountable and you might need an accountability partner to make sure that you do what is needed to be done. There are things to do and things not to do. We are going to discuss both here.
Let’s get this plan together or you are planning to fail without one. If you were going to a destination for whatever reason, you would print out directions to get there. Right? Well this is the something, just a different detail. You need a map of success so you can get to the destination that you are looking for. Keep track of what you do hourly and make sure that it will get you to the destination. If what you are doing won’t work, STOP doing it!
Educate yourself while you are in this part of your life. This way you can take the education with you when you are done. A trainer at your gym can help you do this. All you have to do is ask them.
Be honest with yourself. You will have to have realistic goals in short term intervals that you can see. Walking into a gym and working out all day is not the right place to start. All the people that you see you want to look like, it will take time to get there. You will get there, don’t give up. Make small goals and stay on track and you will get the results you want.
You excess weight that is on your body most likely took a while to obtain. This is how losing the weight will most likely be too. It will take you a little while to see some results, but don’t give up. You have to have patience and be persistent. If you are planning on exercising 6 days a week, eating healthy foods, and keeping yourself on track and accountable, then you have a great chance of success.
