Weight loss is not provided by a secret. Rather, it is provided by documented, well proven facts and not theories or pills. Here are the facts, as we know them, and there are no other mysteries, secrets for hidden methods available in the known world, at this time. Here it is: in order to make weight and bulk disappear it is necessary to have one and only one thing take place. That is that there must be more energy burned, by the body, than is taken in. If this does not occur, the body will either remain fat or it will get fatter. That’s the fact. If you have a desire to lose weight, this must be accomplished in one fashion or another and there is no scientifically proven medicine, pill, powder or capsule that contains a magic ingredient that will allow one to share their blood supply with a couch and lose weight.

On the other hand, I will now attempt to convince you of what you need to do to lose weight both safely and somewhat rapidly, for free.

A: Less caloric intake than energy output. It takes calories from energy produced by carbohydrates and fats for the body to run. This caloric intake is the energy the body uses to perform any kind of work from simple thinking to lifting hundreds of pounds. If you have an intake of 2000 calories and then us up the equivalent of 2500 calories, and do it on a regular basis, you WILL lose weight. This is a “given.”
The body knows how much energy it needs and produces it in order for you to think, move and talk, etc. After it uses the energy it makes some more according to its needs. So, for example should a person take in the amount of 1000 calories of food energy and then go for a run around the track that uses up 1500 calories, the result will be an abundant need for more energy. When, instead of carbohydrates, one consumes protein foods or any tissue that requires new growth, that protein is used to build more tissue, blood, blood vessels, brain, muscle or any other tissue that requires new growth. If there just happens to be an abundance of protein available that no tissue needs replacing, the excess protein is thrown out with the waste. It is not stored the way fat or carbohydrates are.

If you were to eat some protein rather than carbs, the protein is used by the construction department of your body. It uses the protein to rebuild, repair and construct new tissues. Some of these tissues are brain, kidneys, lungs, heart, skin and liver. If there happens to be too much protein, the excess is just tossed out with the waste. There’s no hoarding it like there is with carbohydrates or fats.
Second, if no carbs are available, the body starts converting the stored fat into carbohydrates so that it can be used as energy.
The very first line of energy production is that of carbohydrates. They are made just to be burned as energy and fuel for the body’s many furnaces. It gives off no by-product and burns cleanly with the few extra particles produced from the burning process just thrown down the waste toilet and there are very few of those.
The final line of energy defense and the most dangerous is that of protein. Protein does not burn well and there are a lot of sideline products manufactured when it burns. The big problem with all this is that if protein has to be used for energy, it means that the body is literally starving since there are no carbohydrates or fats available. This is not a good thing. It is the equivalent of a person taking a portion of his or her brain, heart, liver, kidney, lungs or any other organ, and burning them for fuel. As you can imagine, this scenario will eventually result in disaster.
That is merely a lesson on how the body uses the three types of food to its most advantage. Now, let us talk about how the body should lose weight normally and safely.

Because there are very few or no carbohydrates coming in to produce energy for life, glucagon orders all the fats to be transformed into energy and used to keep the cell furnaces stoked. So fats start pouring out of the old storage rooms in the thighs, the belly, the hips and everywhere. The energy is being used up very quickly. Soon, you start noticing that your pants size or dress size is going down and your clothes are getting looser. Weight loss is occurring rapidly now.
It is well proven that if you use energy faster, the fat breakdown occurs more rapidly too, so the glucagon will work harder and your weight loss will occur much quicker.
