The body needs protein in order to function properly. Muscles, hair and fingernails and most of our bodies are for the most part made up of protein. Nuts are very high in protein. They taste great and include: almonds, peanuts, black walnuts and cashews. Rice cakes and crackers are nice with peanut butter.
Seeds are lovely and can be used as a snack or in salads and other dishes. Pumpkin seeds have the added advantage of raising the libido. Also, try sesame seeds and sunflower seeds.
In a vegetarian protein diet, it is essential to eat many fruit in order to maintain good health. Nevertheless, a diet with natural protein mix supplements would insure a perfect diet.
