“Enlightenment” Your 7 days program to Positive thinking

I’m sure you have a bright idea hidden somewhere in the back of your mind that you just can’t wait to test out. Of course you’re not the only one with the bright idea. So what motivates you to churn those creative, or even inspiring juices to its utmost flavor?

As one stressed-out person to another, I know how it feels, and believe me there are many variants when it comes to stress. Coping with life, and carrying the problems that may or may not belong to you can scratch away the little joy and happiness that you can carry once you head out that door. You can’t blame them for being like that; they have their own reasons, so much like we have our reasons to allow stress to weigh us down. They say that stress is all in the mind, well, what’s bugging you anyway? There are several ways to manage stress, and eventually remove it out of your life one of these days. So I’ll try to divide it into a seven-day course for you and I promise it’s not going to be too taxing on the body, as well as on the mind.

1. Acknowledge stress is good Make stress your friend! Based on the body’s natural “fight or flight” response, that burst of energy will enhance your performance at the right moment. I’ve yet to see a top sportsman totally relaxed before a big competition. Use stress wisely to push yourself that little bit harder when it counts most.

2. Avoid stress sneezers Stressed people sneeze stress germs indiscriminately and before you know it, you are infected too!

2. Know your values What do you value most? Make a list of your top 5 values. Some examples are security, freedom, family, spiritual development, learning. As you set your goals for 2005 - check your goals against your values. If the goal doesn’t align with any of your top five values - you may want to reconsider it or revise it.

This is a perfect example where dreams are made of where you start by tinkering with your mind, then with your hands. And if the idea weakens, you can always go back to it later until you finish it.

3. Know your needs Unmet needs can keep you from living authentically. Take care of yourself. Do you have a need to be acknowledged, to be right, to be in control, to be loved? There are so many people who lived their lives without realizing their dreams and most of them end up being stressed or even depressed for that matter. List your top four needs and get them met before it’s too late!

3. Recognize and embrace the thought that each moment is perfect regardless of its outcome. Every time you hit on something that may appear too extreme, why not give it a shot and see if it will work. You will be surprised to see of there are other ways to get the task done in time. If you are not pleased with the outcome, decide to use that moment to learn from and make the appropriate shift.

Give stress thought-trains the red light and stop them in their tracks. Okay so it might go wrong - how likely is that, and what can you do to prevent it?

6. Honor your strengths What are your positive traits? What special talents do you have? List three - if you get stuck, ask those closest to you to help identify these. Are you imaginative, witty, good with your hands? Find ways to express your authentic self through your strengths. You can increase your self-confidence when you can share what you know to others.

Make your own list of stress trigger points or hot spots. Be specific. Is it only presentations to a certain audience that get you worked up? Does one project cause more stress than another? Did you drink too much coffee? Knowing what causes you stress is powerful information, as you can take action to make it less stressful. Do you need to learn some new skills? Do you need extra resources? Do you need to switch to decaf?

7. Burn the candle at one end Lack of sleep, poor diet and no exercise wreaks havoc on our body and mind. Kind of obvious, but worth mentioning as it’s often ignored as a stress management technique. Listen to your mother and don’t burn the candle at both ends!

Self-improvement is indeed one type of work that is worth it. It shouldn’t always be within the confines of an office building, or maybe in the four corners of your own room. The difference lies within ourselves and how much we want to change for the better.

My Review Of The P90x Pull-Up Bar

Wednesday, December 1st, 2010

The gear you need to be able to do the P90x home exercise program is a few dumbbells or resistance bands for the weight lifting part, and a pull-up bar for the assortment of pull-ups and chin-ups that are done in some of the workouts. Beachbody, the creators of P90x, have created a pull-up bar for the program. I have been using it for several months now.

I am currently going through my second complete round (I have started and restarted several times) of P90x. Throughout this whole time I have been using this bar around two times a week and have gotten to put it to the test.

Since no one wants to have the bar that is holding them in the air fail on them, I think durability is an important thing to consider when buying a pull-up bar. Also, ease of installation and functionality of the bar is also important.

How does it fair in terms of durability? I was 206 lbs at my heaviest, and it never bent, buckled, or broke. It shows no signs of stress or bending. It is made of heavy gauge steel that can hold up to 300 lbs. Beachbody had their bar tested by a product testing company to see how durable it was. Their bar was able to perform 195,000 reps with a weight of 400 lbs. A competitors bar was tested as well and lasted for one-quarter of the reps the Beachbody bar was able to handle.

Installation is simple. You don’t need any hardware or tools to install it. There is an optional hook that can be installed for extra peace of mind, but in reality, it isn’t needed. I didn’t install the optional hook and it hasn’t fallen out of place once. It is secure and stable, and is easy to install and quick to remove.

This pull-up bar is very functional. It has 12 places to hold on to it, so you can do a number of different pull-ups and chin-ups.

My only complaint is that one of the foam pads on the grips is falling apart, but I’m sure that with use, it is probably bound to happen.

The P90x Pull-up Bar is an exceptional product that will help you achieve peak fitness. Also, take a look at these actual P90x results.

Benefits Of Exercising At Home

Saturday, November 27th, 2010

As you know, there are many different benefits and potential downsides to working out at either a gym, your home, or even outside (running, jogging, walking, etc.). This article lists and discusses the benefits to working out at home.

The benefit of being able to pick and choose when you want to workout is nice. With a gym you may have to schedule your workout according to their hours or if you are a runner, you may have to schedule your runs according to the weather. Being able to exercise whenever you want to while you are home is a nice bonus.

How about money? If you want to save money, exercising in your home is a great way to save the money you would spend on gas, and on a membership fee at a gym.

Many of us are self conscious and do not like being watched while we exercise. I personally hate working out in front of other people. It feels like others are trying to make a competition out of it by constantly trying to outdo each other. I enjoy exercising at home because I don’t have to worry about how I look or how well I am doing. You have more privacy when you exercise at home.

One thing for certain is that you save time on driving. Not many want to spend more time driving and commuting then they need to. If you want to save time, and save money on gas, doing your fitness routine at your house will help you get done faster. Spend less time in the car and more time doing what you want to do!

As listed, you can see there are several pros to working out in your own home. The first pro is that you have complete control over when you can exercise. The second pro is that you save cash because you don’t have to pay for gas to drive to a gym, or pay for a monthly membership so you can have access to a gym. The third pro is that you have complete privacy. No one watching you, judging you or worse, laughing at you. Fourth and final, you save time because you don’t have to drive to a gym.

If you want to workout at home, P90x is for you. Read the “How Does P90x Work?” page for more information, or read P90x horror stories.

Does P90x Work Like The Infomercial Says It Does?

Friday, November 26th, 2010

To get straight to the point, yes, the P90x extreme home fitness program really does work. In this article you will learn how and why it works so well.

First, it is no wonder that many people are skeptical of this exercise program. First of all, it has it’s own infomercial, and buyers are often skeptical about the claims of many products advertised on an infomercial. Also, it is an exercise product, and with all the garbage fitness products out there it is no wonder why this might be readily associated with the other junk out there. Many people have been burned by fitness products in the past, but P90x is different, because it really does work!

How does the program work so well? It follows some very basic principles that have been time tested through the years to cause weight loss and an overall improvement in health, fitness, and physique. While following the program you’ll be watching your calories and eating less, eating better foods, and exercising regularly. Over time, all these done together will cause anyone to get ripped.

Using the materials in the P90x package sent to you, you will learn how many calories you should be eating each day. The amount of calories you are allowed to eat is less than the amount of calories you burn in a day. This is a very simple way to lose weight. By eating less calories than you burn each day, you open the door to weight loss.

Not only will you be eating less food, but you’ll also be eating healthier foods. The nutrition plan included in the package tells you how much to eat as well as what to eat. Pizza, donuts, ice cream, and other sweet and fatty foods are left out and are instead replaced with vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and lean meats. By fueling the body with better fuel, it can recover faster after workouts and work harder, both of which help to improve results.

Nearly every day for the 90 days there is a workout to do. The workouts range from and hour to an hour and a half. They are intense, fast paced, and not easy. During the workouts around 600 calories can be burned. They help build muscle, encourage fat loss, and improve cardiovascular health.

One of the major selling points about P90x is how it takes advantage of the “muscle confusion” concept. This means that the workouts are changed up every month so that your body gets to experience a different workout. The human body is amazingly well at adapting. If you do the same exercise every day, pretty soon the benefits received from doing that one exercise each day becomes very little. This is because the body adapts to become more efficient and better at doing the exercise. When the workout is changed each month, the body is challenged more by the new exercises and different routines, so growth can occur faster.

How Most People Are Horrible At Losing Excess Weight

Wednesday, September 29th, 2010

Psst.!. I have a process. The secret is in how to shed real fat. It might be not complicated, and it’s not sexy, and it can be not something you are going to locate inside some cheesy women’s magazines like Cosmopolitan. It may be not the necessarily provide you with sixpack abs and it truly is definitely not going to make you search like Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie.

No, the wonder formulation is something that has entirely escaped the minds of almost everybody involved in something related to fitness effectively being and weight loss. I’m not speaking about some magic machine such as the total gym 3000 and I’m certainly not speaking about a pill that will have the wages falling off your body. Those things would be nice, but that’s not what I’m selling.

Nope, the key to real surplus weight loss is something that has nothing to do with physical activity. It has nothing to do with whether or not you eat carbohydrates. No, the magic formulation to genuine extra fat loss has everything to do with what is going on inside your head.

You see, the real problem that people have in controlling their fats is in controlling themselves. People are terrible at controlling their own circumstances. People are terrible at controlling the world around them. We are so focused on making other people happy that we are willing to become miserable ourselves to do it.

The wonder components to losing weight is learning how you can say no. You have to learn how to say no to your spouses when they have a bad idea of what to eat. You have to learn to say no to your children when they want to young food or McDonald’s. You have to learn to say no to your coworkers when I want to go get some dessert were eat some greasy nasty pizza.

Most of all, you have to learn to say no to yourself when you could possibly be saying — I’m seriously hungry and that donut looks incredible. Now I can’t have seconds, no, I can’t have thirds no heading to a buffet is not a good idea. The power of no is some factor that people have lost control over.

We live in a society that wants us to say yes to everything. Society wants us to say that any moral behavior is acceptable. All viewpoints are the same. No make any difference what you want to your what you want to do. People shouldn’t care. People need to start saying no.

If you want to start losing surplus weight and you want to be a genuine success in life you need to learn how to start telling people that you can’t do that anymore. You need to tell them know you need to tell them that it’s unacceptable, you know the difference between right and wrong, good and bad what you’ll be able to eat what you happen to be able to eat, how often you should work out etc. I’m not good at telling you.

What you need to learn if you want to shed excess weight and stay happy is you have to start telling people no. That’s the secret. Just say no.
