Okay! Today is Day Seven! I’m still going on my prescription HCG weight loss program (that is if you are including the loading days at the very start of the program). I think I’m doing pretty good.
I have dropped a total of six lbs since the program started. So that is pretty dang close to the promised one to two lbs per day average that the company advertises.
I got up this morning and weighed myself first thing. I found out I had gone down again. Yesterday I went up by just one single pound. (Dang it!) Today I’m weighing in at 162 pounds. So that’s lovely. I went up one pound yesterday, but today I’m down two pounds. So it’s almost like I didn’t go up yesterday at all. Right?
And after today’s 1 pound weight loss…I’m at the one pound per day average that I wanted to hit.
I injected my HCG and took my B-Total oral drops that came with my HCG weight loss program immediately after I stepped off the scale. (It’s under my bed now because my daughter noticed me weighing myself every day and started to mimic me and worry about her numbers. I didn’t like that so I took the scale out of the bathroom).
I an not at all sure that my reaction was practical, but it just seemed like she really didn’t need to stress about it; especially because she’s an adorable, skinny little girl.
Regardless of the why…the scale is now residing under my bed. And I like that the scale is under the bed; it’s handy!
I can easily whip it out right away each morning and get my daily weight. I haven’t forgotten to weigh myself in the morning yet. And I’m kind of proud of myself for that because that’s the sort of thing that I always forget!
I made the Turkey burgers recipe from the cookbook. It’s pretty much just ground turkey and green onions mixed together with some seasonings before you cook/grill them. Then you skip the bread/bun and use lettuce instead. It was great.
With the turkey burger I had half a grapefruit. I have Stevia to use for sweetener, but it happened to be sweet enough on its own. I like to get the pink ones so I don’t always need to add something to make it sweet enough to eat. I definitely have a sweet tooth.
That night I had leftovers for dinner. I finished off the chili from the other day (with crackers and apples on the side). It was still really tasty. And it was simple. My kids liked it, too. They can be kind of picky about trying new things so that was extra exciting. I guess they couldn’t tell the difference between regular Chili and HCG approved Chili. I didn’t expect them to…it’s really very good.
